Bio
Stephanie Schildknecht is a Motswana-born South African model and actress best known for her starring role as Janet in the second season of the Mzansi Magic drama series Rockville.
She previously had a guest recurring role as Lola, S'bu's competitor in the flairing competition who eventually became his love interest, in the e.tv soapie Rhythm City, in May and June 2013.
Born in Botswana, she holds a Diploma in Performance Art and a BA Degree in Acting from the Arts Educational School in London. After that she joined a theatre group in Paris, then moved to Cape Town where she shot several local and international commercials and films.
She played Santa's little helper in Musica's Christmas campaign and guest starred as The Bandit Queen in the Young Leonardo television series.
In Los Angeles she shot a conceptual trailer with Ving Rhames that was in negotiations to be turned into a feature film in the future.
Other films she has appeared in include The Aftermath, The Opportunist, Another Reality, The Exhibitionist, Papa Wemba, Gier, Ein Sommer in Kapstadt and Death Race 2: Frankenstein Lives.
Stephanie is multilingual, speaking English, German and French.
