Tintswalo Mushwana is a South African television presenter and actress best known for hosting the SABC2 shows 48 Hours (an educational youth series) and Vusaseki, a Xitsonga talk show.
Mushwana was born and raised in Nkowankowa, a small town situated outside Tzaneen in the tropical Limpopo province.
Having started her presenting career in 2007 as a host of My Teacher Made Me, she began making her footprint in the television industry in 1998 as a translator and subtitler for a youth show called Scamto Ground Breakers.
She then broadened her career path by becoming a scriptwriter, voice over artist, researcher and production manager for various production companies such as Ochre Media, Endemol and Mindpool productions.
Tintswalo has worked on numerous productions including 48 hours, Big Brother Africa, Forgive & Forget, City Ses'la and The Wedding Show, to name a few.
The mother of two is firmly rooted in her Xitsonga culture yet prides herself in her ability to speak and understand the majority of South Africa's official languages.
