Bio
Tshedi Mholo is a South African Afro-pop singer best known for being the lead singer of the popular group Malaika, whose debut album, Malaika, went multiple platinum, selling over 350,000 copies.
She is a former member of the University of North West Student Choir, and began her music career singing in the church choir. She was involved with the Mmabana Cultural Centre jazz band in the early days of breaking into the music industry – and has a taste of reality music shows too, having once auditioned for the Shell Road To Fame, making it to the regional finals.
Now famous for being the lead singer with the multi award-winning Afro-Pop group Malaika, and a solo artist in her own right, Tshedi Mholo is also a songwriter, composer, singer, producer and actress with a passion for stage plays.
In 2014 she was the Choirmaster for the Limpopo region on the second season of the Mzansi Magic reality competition Clash of the Choirs.
