Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson is an Icelandic strongman competitor and actor best known for his debut acting role as Ser Gregor Clegane, the head of House Clegane and a notoriously fearsome warrior with a tendency toward extreme violence, in the fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones.He replaced Ian Whyte in the role, who himself replaced Conan Stevens.
