Bio
Zonke (real name Zonke Dikana) is a South African singer, songwriter and producer who rose to fame on the back of her multi award-winning, double platinum selling album Ina Ethe.
She is a multiple South African Music Awards (SAMA) winner, capturing the awards for Best Live DVD and Best African Adult Album for her Give & Take Live project at the 2014 event.
Beyond her own solo career, Zonke has written music for and collaborated with a number of well known artists including T.K., Thebe, Mafikizolo and Franck Roger.
Her father, Vuyisile Dikana, was the drummer for Black Slave and the Flamingo and her late stepmother, Anneline Malebo, sang for the famous Joy outfit of Paradise Road fame.
In 2014 Zonke was one of the judges on the first season of the SABC1 reality competition series The X Factor South Africa.
On Thursday 11 August, 2016 she was the featured guest on the fourth season of the SABC1 music interview show Zaziwa.
