Charles Halford is an American actor best known for his starring role as Francis "Chas" Chandler, Constantine's oldest friend and staunch companion who possesses powerful survival skills, in the fantasy horror television series Constantine.
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Halford began his training as an actor on the indie circuit. He cut his teeth in the Sundance Filmmaker Labs where he worked as a stock actor for several seasons.
The Sundance Labs granted him the opportunity to work with a number of A-list talent, as well as ascending directors, actors and producers.
Since honing his craft in Park City, Utah, Halford forged a name for himself on the small screen with credits in a number of high-profile television series.
He leant his imposing physicality as the towering meth-cooking serial killer suspect, Reggie Ledoux, on HBO's hit series True Detective, alongside Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.
Halford has made appearances on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Agent Shaw, while other credits include Body of Proof, The Event and Vegas.
Halford's film credits include a notable scene opposite Anthony Hopkins in The World's Fastest Indian. Younger audiences know him as Skunk, a dadnapper from the Disney Channel original movie Dadnapped.
He has additional credits in the indie feature Flutter.
