Ross Marquand is an American actor best known for his role as Aaron, a recruiter for the Alexandria Safe-Zone located in Washington, DC. for Rick Grimes and his fellow survivors on the road, in the television horror series The Walking Dead.
The character is notable for being the first openly gay character in the series (and the comic book of the same name).
Colorado native Marquand received his BFA in Theatre from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Los Angeles and quickly garnered attention in several film and television projects.
Before Marquand's breakout role on The Walking Dead, he portrayed screen legend Paul Newman on AMC's Mad Men.
