Bresha Webb is an American actress best known for her starring role as Immnique Jefferson in the television sitcom Love That Girl!.
She is also known for her recurring roles as Dr. Laverne St. John on ER, as Cookie on LearningTown and as Teresa Morris on Grey's Anatomy.
In 2015 she had a starring role as Angie, Russell's (Tone Bell) practical wife who has her hands full being married to a stand-up comic, in the NBC sitcom Truth be Told.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Webb always knew she wanted to be an actress. She attended the prestigious Baltimore School for the Arts where she was immersed in theatre, dance and music. She received her BFA from the California Institute of the Arts and soon after began booking jobs.
Her screen credits include HBO's Hung, Showtime's Weeds and ABC's Grey's Anatomy, where she was featured in a significant arc on Season 10. She also guest stars on the HBO series Brothers in Atlanta.
When not working, Webb has a big place in her heart for philanthropy and has volunteered with the Black AIDS Institute, working to generate HIV awareness for the African-American community.
She also supports Dress for Success, a nonprofit organization that provides interview suits, confidence boosts and career development to low-income women in more than 75 cities worldwide.
