Aramis Knight is an American actor best known for his starring role as M.K., a teenage boy rescued by Sunny from mercenary Nomads who hides a dark secret, in the science fiction martial arts action series Into the Badlands.
On the big screen, Knight starred in Summit Entertainment's Ender's Game, an action/sci-fi film about a group of elite children who are trained to defeat a hostile alien race that has attacked Earth. Knight played the role of Bean, and the film's other stars include Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld and Abigail Breslin.
Knight starred in his first major feature film in 2007 as the son to Reese Witherspoon's character in Warner Bros.' Rendition, which starred Jake Gyllenhaal and was directed by South African director Gavin Hood.
Knight has done voice-over work for major animated films including DreamWorks' Shrek Forever After as well as Warner Bros.' Happy Feet Two.
On the small screen, Knight has had guest starring and recurring roles on numerous television shows including Dexter, General Hospital, NCIS, Psych, The Mentalist, Parenthood and Lost, to name a few.
A native of Woodland Hills, California, Knight discovered his passion for acting at only four years old. His mother enrolled him in an acting workshop, and before long he was appearing in commercials and playing minor screen roles.
