Bio
Palo Mokoailane is a South African actor and production specialist best known for his role as the second Pheko (after Rapulana Seiphemo) on the SABC2 soapie Muvhango, making his first appearance on 24 March, 2016.
His production company, Mokoailane Productions, won the SAFTA award for Best Children/Youth Programme at the second annual AFTA Awards in 2007, for producing an episode of the SABC1 show Take 5 entitled "Virginity Testing".
Palo began auditioning for Muvhango in the 1990s, landing his first role on the show (as Pheko) in 2015 and making his first appearance on the show in 2016.
He previously played the recurring role of Khotso, the son of series star Lillian Dube's character Pontsho, in the SABC / BBC sitcom Mponeng, based on the BBC series Keeping up Appearances. He appeared in both seasons of the show, from 2005-2006.
Palo is also involved with skills development in South Africa and across Africa and was the technical director for SONA (the State of the Nation Address).
He also started his own radio show on Lesedi FM, airing on Saturdays at 18h00.
