Sobantu Nqayi is a South African actor best known for his role as Zuko Ntuli, an astute sociology lecturer and a defender of traditional and rural ways, in the e.tv drama series Umlilo.
He joined the show for its third season, in 2016.
His television series acting debut was in the second season of the SABC1 drama series Forced Love, in the guest role of Qhama.
Sobantu previously featured in television commercials for clients including Flying Fish, Spur, Cell C and M-Web. He has also acted in and presented a number of corporate videos.
He had acting training from Bonnie Rodini and is the younger brother of actress and presenter Noluthando Meje (commonly known as Nolly Nolz), who is credited as Noluthando Nqayi on the SABC3 soapie Isidingo.
