Julie Hesmondhalgh is an English actress best known for her role as Hayley Cropper in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, for which she won Best Serial Drama Performance at the 2014 National Television Awards and Best Actress at the 2014 British Soap Awards.
Since departing Coronation Street, her projects include regular television roles in the Russell T Davies penned drama series Cucumber and the second season of the crime drama Happy Valley.
