Bio
Werner Coetser is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Bernard Jordaan, a typical rich kid with a mommy who spoilt him rotten, on the SABC2 soap opera 7de Laan, from 2010-2016.
He left his role on 7de Laan to take up a starring role in the kykNET soapie Getroud met Rugby: Die Sepie as Blitz, a 24-year-old rugby player who has a short temper and an eye for the ladies.
After finishing his BA drama degree at the University of Pretoria, Werner starred as Hennie in Susanna van Biljon se Storie, directed by Bromley Caywood.
His theatre credits include roles in A Place For Two, Three Wall Temple, The Witches, Drie Susters and Macbeth.
In 2016 he had a bit part in an episode of the kykNET drama series Sterlopers, and in April that year began starring in Getroud met Rugby: Die Sepie (Married to Rugby: The Soapie), based on Deon Opperman's film and television drama series of the same name.
