Bio
Thato Kgoele is a South African actor and presenter who has guest starred on television series like Gauteng Maboneng and the Ferguson Films productions Rockville and The Queen.
He did a radio and television presenting workshop through the National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa (NEMISA) in 2012, after appearing in a malaria awareness corporate advert the year before.
Thato acted in Diepsloot community theatre productions of Who Is He? and Dodoko, both of which were written and directed by Thabo Nkwamba from Born Talented.
He was also an extra on The Avengers in 2014 and a Wired for Life ambassador in 2016, in which he presented online videos for the Department of Education.
His first screen acting role was a cameo as a school competition finalist in the second season of the SABC2 sitcom Gauteng Maboneng, in 2014.
In 2016 he was a guest presenter on SABC1's YOTV Live and gained further traction with a guest appearance as a prankster on the second season of MTV Africa's reality series #YouGotGot, on 18 July.
Less than a week later he appeared on the Mzansi Magic drama series Rockville (produced by and starring Connie and Shona Ferguson) in the guest role of Neo (Season 4, Episode 3 on 24 July).
He then guest starred on a second Ferguson Films production - the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Queen - as Thabang, first appearing on the second episode of the series, on 2 August, 2016.
