Roberto Kyle is a South African actor, singer and model best known for his starring role as Lee-Roy Foster in the kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei.

In 2005 he joined the Frank Pietersen Music Centre (FPMC) where he studied classical voice and music literacy under classical singer Jo-Nette Le Kay, who coached him for five years.

Roberto won the FPMC Solo Singer of The Year twice and graduated from FPMC in 2011 with both Trinity Guildhall Intermediate Graded Examinations (which he passed with distinction) in Music Theory and Classical Voice.

He was signed by SHINE Models Cape Town and was chosen as the runner-up for the national CSquared Brand Ambassador search in 2013.

In 2007 he made the final preliminary round in Patricia Lewis' reality competition series Supersterre 2 and has shared the stage with Jamali, Vicky Sampson, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Freshlyground, among other notable music acts.

Roberto later studied for a BA Degree in Theatre and Performance from the University of Cape Town, graduating in 2015.

He has appeared in numerous stage productions, including Eben Missing, Our Country's Good, Reparation, Twelfth Night, Peter Pan and Aunty Merle: The Musical.

Films he has acted in include Eye in the Sky, The Dark Tower, The Number and A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits. He also acted in the short film Model Wife.

Roberto made his television acting debut in an episode of the Showtime drama series Homeland in 2014 in an episode entitled "Redux (Season 4, Episode 7).

He landed his first starring role in television in the kykNET drama series Knapsekêrels, which debuted in January 2018.

He next landed the starring role of Lee-Roy Foster in the kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei, which premiered on 1 October, 2018. His character is bullied by classmates for being gay, but he doesn't let adversity get him down.

In 2019 he had a guest starring role in an episode of the kykNET supernatural crime procedural series Die Spreeus, appearing in the Season 1 finale (Season 1 Episode 13), which aired on 2 July, 2019.
