Pinky Girl (real name Tebogo Mekgwe) is a South African reality television personality and social influencer best known for starring on the 1Magic docu-reality series Being Bonang.
Born in Rustenburg and raised in Mabopane, Tebogo matriculated in 2006 at Hill View High, then studied MGI at Midrand Graduate Institute from 2007-2010.
Due to the development in technology she also studied IT at Damelin while working and also did several IT system certificates at Touque IT in Pretoria.
She has worked as a club host, model, events MC, DJ and social influencer.
The cousin of Bonang Matheba, she rose to fame by being featured on the docu-reality series Being Bonang, which debuted on the now-defunct Vuzu Amp channel on DStv on 14 July, 2017.
The show returned for a second season on new channel 1Magic in 2018, and for a third season the following year.
The nickname "Pinky Girl" was given to her by her grandmother, as she was a small and very light baby.
