Bio
Terrence Ngwila is a South African actor best known for his role as Hlabi on the kykNET soapie Binnelanders.
Born and raised in Allemansdrif, Mpumalanga, he matriculated from Kwamanala High School and went on to do a performing arts course at the State Theatre in Pretoria in 2013.
Prolific in theatre, Terrenced has appeared in productions such as 1606, Mother Courage and Her Children, The Kraal, Inn Time, Kidder, The President's Man, The Color Purple, Sophiatown and Marikana: The Musical, which won 13 Naledi theatre awards.
He made his television debut in 2014 in the recurring role of Pastor Kagiso Matlaa on the SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy.
He played the recurring role of Mohau on Muvhango, first appearing on 26 November, 2019.
He next landed the role of Dr Hlabi on Binnelanders, making his first appearance in Season 15, Episode 179, which aired on 13 February, 2020.
In the same year he recurred as Jerry in the 1Magic drama series Unmarried, first appearing in Season 2, Episode 5 (which aired on 10 October, 2020 and two days later on Mzansi Magic).
The following year he had a starring role as Sifiso, the loving husband of Amo (Nokuthula Ledwaba) who accepts a lucrative offer that comes at the cost of his soul, in the M-Net drama series Lioness.
The 10-episode series debuted on 28 January, 2021.
