Bio
Dustin Beck is a South African actor best known for his role as Luke on the kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei.
He matriculated from Eersterivier Secondary High School in Cape Town in 2011 and spent the following year studying at the Magnet Theatre, a physical theatre company based in Cape Town.
Dustin then attended the University of Cape Town, where he did a BA in Theatre & Performance from 2013-2016.
He has since amassed numerous theatre credits with performances in productions including The Seagull, Cannibal Country, Underground Library, Kinnes and Vrou van Orde.
He also appeared in the short films Soldaat and The Funeral.
Dustin made his television acting debut in the recurring role of Earl on the kykNET drama series Sara se Geheim (Sara's Secret), first appearing in Season 2, Episode 6, which first aired on 15 May, 2018.
He returned to the role for the third season, in 2020.
His breakthrough role came later in 2018 when he was cast in the recurring role of Luke on the kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei, making his first appearance in the role in the series premiere on 1 October, 2018.
Dustin landed his first starring role in television when he was cast as call centre helpline agent Imaad Adams in the SABC2 telenovela Die Sentrum (The Centre), which revolves around a group of eight diverse counsellors who work together at a helpline call centre.
The series premiered on 8 April, 2021.
