Bio
Pfarelo Mulondo is a South African director, content producer, researcher and actor who has appeared in shows including The River and Ngempela.
Hailing from Louis Trichardt in Limpopo province, he graduated from Tshwane University of Technology with a B-Tech Linguistics in 2012.
He later moved into the film and television industry, working on several productions for Urban Brew Studios, where he was a content producer for a number of shows including Khumbul'ekhaya, The Real Goboza, Mahadi Lobola, K'shubile and #WTFTUMI.
After leaving Urban Brew Studios in 2018, he moved into the digital world at Plum Social & Digital Advertising Agency as a digital producer, where he handled accounts of various brands including Trending SA on SABC3.
In 2020, before joining Pomegranate Media as an all round Content Creative, he worked on a Netflix's Spotlight documentary as a Content Producer.
Other projects include the talk show Triumph on SABC2 and concepts for Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime and ShowMax, among others.
Pfarelo was a guest presenter on SABC1's kids programming block YoTV between 2014 and 2016.
His television acting debut came in an episode of the SABC1 docu-drama series Ngempela in the show's second season, in 2016.
He played a guest role on the SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy and also played the role of Litha on the 1Magic soapie The River, in an episode which aired on 16 October, 2018 (Season 1, Episode 187).
Pfarelo is multilingual, speaking Tshivenda, English, French, seTswana and isiZulu.
