Elvis Nkosi is a South African actor, singer and model best known for his role as Mahlatshe Ledwaba in the SABC2 telenovela Giyani: Land of Blood.
Raised in Mamelodi, Pretoria, his Grade 6 English teacher introduced him to acting, which he continued at Phateng Secondary School.
Elvis started modelling at the age of 15, after being discovered by a local designer, and soon signed to his first modelling and acting agents.
He was also part of the Children's Radio Foundation (founded by UNICEF) for a couple of years in high school and studied for a Bachelor of Information Science in Multimedia degree at the University of Pretoria.
Elvis first rose to public attention when he was cast in the recurring role of Mahlatshe Ledwaba in the second season of the SABC2 telenovela Giyani: Land of Blood.
His first appearance in the role was in the second season premiere, which aired on 1 November, 2021.
Elvis soon landed another recurring role, this time as Mongezi "Mo" Khambule in the SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy.
His character first appeared in Season 8, Episode 73, which aired on 2 March, 2022.
Elvis is multilingual, speaking English, Sepedi and Setswana.
