Mark Derwin is an American actor best known for several high-profile roles in daytime soap operas, and for the two seasons he played Bonnie Hunt's spouse on the sitcom Life with Bonnie.
He also starred as George Juergens in the teen drama television series The Secret Life of the American Teenager, from 2008-2013.
Mark has guested on such TV series as 24, For Your Love, Veronica's Closet, Cybill, Party of Five, and Touched by an Angel. His feature films include The Minus Man, Evil Obsession, and Ballad of the Nightingale with Virginia Madsen.
But he's known best for creating the role of Ben Davidson on One Life to Live. His other daytime TV credits include playing Adrian Hunter on The Young and the Restless (1989-1990) and A.C. Mallet on Guiding Light (1990-1993); that role nabbed him the 1993 Soap Opera Digest Award for Leading Man and a Daytime Emmy nomination for Lead Actor in 1992.
Mark moved to California after he left Guiding Light, and he still lives in L.A. In 2008, he worked with Ernie Hudson (aka Dr. Ken Fields on Secret Life) in the film Balancing the Books.
He also shot a cable drama entitled Anatomy of Hope, directed by Lost creator and Star Trek director J.J. Abrams, and a chess movie called Mate.
