Bio

Fyvush Finkel is an American actor best known for his role as lawyer Douglas Wambaugh on the television series Picket Fences (1992-1996), for which he earned an Emmy Award in 1994.

He is also known for his portrayal of Harvey Lipschultz, a crotchety old United States History teacher, on the television series Boston Public.

He also had a lead role in the short-lived fantasy drama series Fantasy Island, in 1998. He appeared in all 13 episodes.

Finkel has made guest appearances on Kojak, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Early Edition, Hollywood Squares, The Simpsons, and Chicago Hope.
