Luke Perry is an actor best known for his role as Dylan McKay on the television drama series Beverly Hills, 90210, from 1990-2000.
He also played the title role in the futuristic drama series Jeremiah, from 2002-2004.
He has made numerous guest appearances on television, most notably as Reverend Jeremiah Cloutier on the prison drama Oz (10 episodes).
Other guest roles include turns on Will & Grace, Doctor Who and What I Like About You.
He had a starring role in the dramedy Windfall in 2006, but it was cancelled after 13 episodes.
He has had a co-starring role on the HBO drama series John From Cincinnati since it premiered in June 2007.
He has voiced himself on episodes of Family Guy and The Simpsons and played the role of Dr. Chris Richardson on the television mini-series Supernova, which was screened in South Africa on the Hallmark channel.
His first significant motion picture role was as motorcycle-riding grungy sidekick Oliver Pike in 1992's Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
He was the lead role in 1994's 8 Seconds and 1996's Normal Life and had a minor role at the beginning of 1997 movie The Fifth Element.
