John Edward is an American author and television personality best known for his TV shows Crossing Over with John Edward and John Edward Cross Country (known in South Africa as John Edward: Psychic), which are premised on him performing as a psychic medium who attempts to communicate with the spirits of the audience members' deceased relatives.Born in Glen Cove, New York, Edward says he was convinced at a young age that he could become a psychic.
