Sharon Osbourne with her trademark red highlighted hair was born in London, England in 1952.
She is married to rocker, Ozzie Osbourne, with whom she has three children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack. Her and Ozzie renewed their wedding vows with a traditional Hebrew Ceremonyon 31 December 2002, to celebrate their 20 year wedding anniversary. Sharon underwent surgery for colon cancer the day before this 20 year wedding anniversary celebration.
Sharon is the daughter of Don Arden, who is a former manager of Black Sabbath and also the president of Jet Records, London, and her mother, Hope, was a dancer. Hope died in 1998. She is the younger sister of David Arden and stepmother to Jessica Mayfair.
Sharon grew up wanting to become a ballerina, but at the age of 15, she dropped out of school and began working for her father as a receptionist.
Sharon also attended the Italia Conti academy of Theatre Arts, which is a famous London stage school.
Sharon has managed Ozzie Osbourne's career for longer than they have been married.
Sharon's three children were all born 13 months apart. Aimee Osbourne is her first child, she was born in September 1983, Kelly Osbourne's birth followed in October 1984 and Jack Osbourne was born in November 1985. The birth of Kelly was very traumatic with an extremely long labour and Sharon almost died due to the blood loss.
In August 2002, Sharon was undergoing chemotherapy for cancer treatment.
