Bio
Josh Henderson is an American actor and singer best known for his television roles as Austin McCann on Desperate Housewives (2006-2007) and as John Ross Ewing III in the TNT revival of Dallas, from 2012-2014.
He first became widely known from his appearance on the singing competition show Popstars 2, on which he was one of the winners selected to be a member of the pop group Scene 23.
He also starred on FX's critically acclaimed Steven Bochco series Over There, playing an ambitious young soldier coping with the tragic consequences of the war in Iraq.
His other television roles include a recurring role on the CW drama 90210 and guest starring roles on some of primetime's most popular shows including CSI, One on One, She Spies, 8 Simple Rules and North Shore.
Segueing effortlessly between the big and small screen, his film credits include Disney's feature film Step Up!, about a delinquent teen given a second chance, as well as Paramount's Broken Bridges in which he shares screen time with fellow Oklahoman and country music superstar Toby Keith.
He made his film debut in New Regency's The Girl Next Door alongside Elisha Cuthbert and Sony's remake of the family comedy Yours, Mine & Ours with Dennis Quaid and Rene Russo.
His other film credit include the thriller Fingerprints, The Jerk Theory, April Fool's Day and the psychological thriller Rushlights.
A native of Texas, Josh was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and moved to Los Angeles after winning a talent search for the reality show Popstars. He continues to write and perform music.
