Bio
Sean Maher is an American actor best known for his role as Simon Tam in the short-lived science fiction television series Firefly (2002-2003), and its spin-off feature film Serenity.
Maher also starred as the title character, a rookie police officer, on the short-lived TV series Ryan Caulfield: Year One (which was cancelled after only two episodes had aired), and in 2000 he was one of the main characters on the Fox show The $treet, appearing in all 12 episodes.
He also had a seven-episode recurring role on the sixth season of Party of Five in 2000, playing the role of Adam Matthews.
Maher guest-starred on CSI: Miami in 2003, playing the role of Carson Mackie in the episode entitled "Spring Break" (Season 1, Episode 21). He reprised the role for the video game CSI: Miami in 2004, in the segment entitled "Spring Break".
He also guest starred on the television show Ghost Whisperer in 2005, playing the role of Conor Donovan in the episode entitled "Mended Hearts" (Season 1, Episode 4).
Maher has appeared in the made-for-TV movies HRT (2001), Brian's Song (2001), The Dive from Clausen's Pier (2005) and Wedding Wars (2006), in which he played John Stamos's boyfriend, Ted Moore.
His only two feature film appearances to date are in Serenity (2005) and Living 'til the End (2005).
