Reed Diamond is an American actor best known for his starring role as Detective Mike Kellerman on the television police procedural Homicide: Life on the Street, from 1995-1998.
He is also known for his recurring role as Stuart Collins on Judging Amy (1999-2003) and for his leading role as Inspector Jack Vasser on the science fiction series Journeyman, in 2007.
He also stars as Damien Karp in the comedy-drama television series Franklin & Bash.
Diamond was born and raised in New York City. He attended college at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and then went on to study acting at The Juilliard School in New York.
His professional career began in 1990 with his co-starring role in the movie Memphis Belle. He went on to appear on Broadway.
Diamond is probably best known for playing Detective Mike Kellerman on the critically acclaimed NBC television series Homicide: Life On The Street.
He also appeared on television in Kevin Fall's Journeyman, Joss Wheedon's Doll House and the final season of the hit series 24.
Some of Diamond's most notable movie credits include Good Night, and Good Luck, Spider-Man 2 and S.W.A.T. Diamond can also be seen in Sony's Moneyball.
