Bio
Eric Johnson is a Canadian actor best known for his role as Whitney Fordman on the television series Smallville (2001-2004), and as the title character in the 2007 television series remake of the science fiction classic Flash Gordon.
Johnson left the cast of Smallville after the first season but resurfaced in guest appearances during seasons two (playing a shapeshifter masquerading as Whitney) and four (in a flashback).
Johnson's most high-profile role to American audiences before Smallville was playing "Teen Tristan" in Legends of the Fall. Brad Pitt played the same character as an adult.
In Canada, Johnson was the lead in an award-winning made-for-TV movie entitled Scorn (2000).
Johnson has made guest appearances on the television series The Ray Bradbury Theater (his screen debut in 1992), Night Man, MythQuest, The Collector, Criminal Minds, The Dead Zone, Ghost Whisperer and The Unit.
