Daphne Maxwell Reid is an American actress best known for replacing Janet Hubert-Whitten in the role of (Aunt) Vivian Banks on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, from 1993 to 1996.She also had a recurring role as JT's mother, Frances Hunter, on the now-canceled sitcom Eve, from 2003-2006.
