Kim Johnston Ulrich is an American actress best known for her role as Ivy Winthrop Crane, the daughter of a Governor and the stunningly beautiful and socially prominent ex-wife of Julian Crane, on the television soap opera Passions, from 1999-2008.
Ulrich is also known for her character Diana McCall, a role she played for over two years on As the World Turns. She was Allison Yates on Nightingales and Mark Harmon's love interest on the series Reasonable Doubts.
Her other television credits include 3rd Rock from the Sun, Smart Guy, 7th Heaven, Moloney, Murder One, Matlock, Diagnosis Murder, Murder, She Wrote, NCIS, Supernatural, Standoff, The Mentalist and Cheers.
Born in Ripon (Central Valley), California, Johnston Ulrich currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and their two children. She has been married to casting director Robert J. Ulrich since 1981 and has a son Cooper and a daughter Tierney.
Her hobbies include gardening, cooking and interior decorating.
