Eileen Davidson is an American actress, author and former model best known for her soap opera roles as Kristen DiMera on Days of Our Lives and as Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.
Born and raised in California, Eileen began her acting career at 21, first coming to notice in the cult classic Sorority Row. Her other early credits include Eternity' opposite Jon Voight and Armand Assante and playing the lead in Stephen Cannell's series, Broken Badges.
Eileen is best known for her role as Ashley Abbot on the #1 rated daytime series, The Young and the Restless, and also as Kristen DiMera on Day of our Lives. From 1997 to 1998 she made television history by playing five roles simultaneously on Days of our Lives.
In 2014, after three nominations, she won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress for her main role on Days of our Lives.
Eileen has written four novels with mystery writer Robert Randisi, three of which were published by Penguin Paperbacks.
When not writing or acting, Eileen paints, surfs and plays piano and guitar. She is married to Vincent Van Patten, a former child star, professional tennis player, host of World Poker Tour and the son of Hollywood legend Dick Van Patten.
In 2014 she joined the cast of the Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
