Bio
Cody Kasch is an American actor best known for his role as troubled teenager Zach Young on the television series Desperate Housewives, appearing in the role since the show premiered in 2004.
He was also a regular cast member of the short-lived sitcom Normal, Ohio; and of the Australian drama series Out There, in 2004.
An accomplished actor by the age of 18, Kasch grew up in a theatre family in California, performing on stage with the Flying H Theater Company in Ojai.
At the tender age of one he appeared in his first film, Behind God's Back, and shortly thereafter starred in the feature film Show and Tell.
It was through a solid body of theatre credits - including Alice in Wonderland, The Outsiders, Wizard of Oz and Oliver - that Kasch got his break into television: his work in the play God's Country caught the eye of a casting director who then cast him in his first national television commercial.
He has made numerous guest appearances on television shows, including ER, Nash Bridges, The Practice, Boston Public, NYPD Blue, Family Affair and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, in which he played a young Nazi in the 2005 episode "Raw" (Season 7, Episode 6).
He is also the narrator for the audiobooks Huck Finn, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Peter Pan.
