Bio
Harry Morgan (April 10, 1915 – December 7, 2011) was an American actor best known for his role as Colonel Sherman T. Potter on the television series M*A*S*H, appearing in 176 episodes from 1974-1983.
He also played the title role of Pete Porter in the TV shows December Bride (1954-1956) and its spin-off series Pete And Gladys (1960-1962); and played Officer Bill Gannon in Dragnet (1951) and later Dragnet 1967, from 1967-1969, and the feature film Dragnet in 1987.
Other television shows he has appeared in include Alfred Hitchcock Presents; The Untouchables; The Richard Boone Show; Dr. Kildare; The Partridge Family; Gunsmoke; The Love Boat; Murder, She Wrote; The Simpsons; Grace Under Fire; 3rd Rock From The Sun; and Love & Money.

Morgan's last screen appearance was in an episode of Love & Money in November 1999. He died on December 7, 2011, at the age of 96.
