Bio

She also starred in the role of housewife Angie Bolen on the comedy-drama television series Desperate Housewives, from 2009-2010.
Drea also appears in Focus Features' Assault on Precinct 13, a remake of John Carpenter's 1976 thriller, and the feature film The Waylon Jennings Tribute, which she directed and produced. Similar to The Last Waltz, the film focuses on a huge concert.
De Matteo was also seen on the big screen co-starring with Gina Gershon in Prey for Rock n' Roll, directed by Alex Steyermark. Her other feature films include Warner Bros.' Swordfish and Abel Ferrara's R'Xmas.
As if acting wasn't enough, de Matteo co-owns the ultra hip East Village boutique Filth Mart. During her downtime, she always returns to HB Studios where her mother taught playwriting for over 25 years.
De Matteo has a bachelor of fine arts degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in film production. She currently lives in New York and her birthday is January 19.
