Bio
Vivien Cardone is an American actress best known for her role as Delia Brown in the television drama series Everwood; and as young Marcee in the Academy Award-winning film A Beautiful Mind.
When she was 8 years old, Cardone was selected by director Ron Howard and co-star Russell Crowe to play the role of Marcee, John Nash's imaginary young friend, in A Beautiful Mind (2001).
She and her mother received the news 15 minutes after leaving the audition, as they were filling up their tank at the gas station down the street.
In 2002 she landed the part of Delia Brown in Everwood, which she continues to play today.
Cardone will appear in her second movie, All Roads Lead Home, in October 2007.
Born in Port Jefferson, New York, and raised on Long Island, Cardone followed in her older sister's footsteps and began appearing in commercials when she was only three months old.
Her first commercials were public service announcements for recycling and vaccinations. She has gone on to appear in several national campaigns for such companies as Pillsbury, Sherman Williams and Pizza Hut.
Her hobbies include playing with friends, swimming, rollerblading, singing and dancing, including Irish step dancing, for which she has won awards.
Cardone and her siblings, two sisters and a brother, are home-schooled by their mother. She was named after her mom's favourite actress, Vivien Leigh.
