Tony Rock is an American actor and stand-up comedian best known for his starring role as Dirk Black, Robert Sr.'s best friend, in the television sitcom All of Us, from 2003-2007.
Rock's television credits include hosting BattleBots, Can You Tell, in addition to serving as a writer and guest star on The Chris Rock Show. In 2001, The Hollywood Reporter chose Rock as one of the hot young talents to come out of New York.
Rock's proudest comedy moment came when he went home to New York to headline with Mark Curry and John Henton at Harlem's world famous Apollo Theater.
Rock can also be seen in the HBO original movie, Life Support, opposite Queen Latifah and produced by Jamie Foxx.
Rock, a native New Yorker, still calls Manhattan his home. He is the younger brother of comedian Chris Rock.
