Bio
Matthew Bennett is a Canadian actor, writer and director best known for his role as Detective Len Harper on the Canadian police drama Cold Squad (2000-2005), for which he was nominated for both a Gemini and Leo award.
He also had a recurring guest role as Aaron Doral, a Cylon, on the reimagined Battlestar Galactica, playing the character from the 2003 mini-series until the series proper finale.
He has worked as a series lead on such shows as Total Recall 2070 and the CBC miniseries At the Hotel.
Now splitting his time between Toronto and Vancouver, Bennett has guest-starred on more than 15 television series and has co-starred in numerous movies, for both television and theatrical release.
Bennett was cast in a leading role on the CTV pilot Sabbatical, completed his first season on the new CBC series MVP, and made his directorial debut with the feature film Love Money, released in 2008.
In his spare time, Bennett can be found watching movies, skiing the local mountains in Vancouver, and pursuing his keen interest in photography.
