James Martin is an English celebrity chef best known as one of the chefs on the cooking show Ready Steady Cook.
James's fame comes from his talents in cooking. He's a regular celebrity chef on Ready, Steady Cook, he's often a guest on Saturday Kitchen with Antony Worrall Thompson and he has his own daily show called Castles in the Country.
In 2007 he starred in a BBC 2 series named Sweet Baby James (named in reference to the James Taylor song) in which he focused on desserts, puddings and cakes while visiting places from his culinary past that have inspired his recipes.
He also owns his own Bistro on P&O's cruise liner Ocean Village and has written a number of books.
In 2005 Martin was partnered with Camilla Dallerup in the UK version of the dance reality competition Strictly Come Dancing 3, coming fourth.
