Alana de la Garza is an American actress best known for her role as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa in Law & Order, from 2006-2010. She reprised her role as Connie Rubirosa in Law & Order: LA in 2011.
She was previously known for her role as Maria Serrano in The Mountain, from 2004-2005.
De la Garza was born in Columbus, Ohio, and raised in El Paso, Texas. She attended the University of Texas and then moved to New York City to study acting at The School for Film & Television.
Following her training in New York, de la Garza moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of acting. She has also modelled for print and commercial campaigns.
De la Garza stars in El Segundo, a feature that was screened at the 2004 Cine Las Americas Film Festival. The actress can also be seen in the independent romantic comedy film The Perfect Lie, opposite David Boreanaz.
She's starred in the short film Mr.Dramatic, as Mrs. Dramatic alongside The Mountain's Oliver Hudson, and appears in the feature Carnival Knowledge.
Her additional credits include guest-starring roles in the Tv shows Las Vegas, Two and a Half Men and JAG. She also starred as Rosa Santos on the daytime soapie All My Children.
In 2016 she began starring in the CBS police procedural series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, as a linguistics expert.
