Sindi Majola (also credited as Sindi Khambule) is a South African actress best known to television viewers for her role as Sindi Sibiya in the SABC1 soccer drama Zone 14, from 2005-2008.
She also played Lindi Shabalala, a music producer who made life hell for Chippa (Loyiso Mangena), in the e.tv soapie Backstage, in 2006.
In addition, Sindi played the role of an HIV sufferer and strong mother of Tsotsi in the Oscar-winning feature films Tsotsi, in 2006.
Sindi first rose to fame in 2002 after going public about her lesbian relationship with the late Brenda Fassie and subsequently acted in a number of television productions including Yizo Yizo, The Lab, Heartlines, Erfsondes, Jacob's Cross, Mtunzini.com, The Mating Game and Boomba & TT.
From 2009-2011 she had a recurring role as cheeky private nurse Constance in the e.tv soapie Rhythm City.
In 2017 she returned to television after a four-year hiatus with a guest role on the Mzansi Magic telenovela Isithembiso, making her first appearance in Season 1, Episode 71 (2 August, 2017).
