Named for the Gone With The Wind heroine, Scarlett Pomers began her career at the age of 3, appearing in Michael Jackson's video Heal the World.
Sixteen-year-old Pomers is already a veteran of television with credits that include guest roles on Judging Amy, Providence, Touched By An Angel and three seasons on Star Trek: Voyager.
Her film career started at age 5 when she landed her first feature role as Suzi Barret in The Babysitters Club. More films followed with roles in Happy Texas, Mighty Joe Young, Slappy and the Stinkers, Geppetto and the Julia Roberts hit Erin Brockovich.
Pomers spent six weeks in Australia filming the television movie A Ring Of Endless Light. She has also appeared in over 40 commercials.
For her acting performances, Pomers has received five Young Artist Awards, including a 1999 award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Star Trek: Voyager.
Pomers has also ventured into the music world as a rock performer.
In addition to acting, singing and songwriting, Pomers studies Egyptian belly dance and East Indian Tribal dance. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, surfing, skiing, horseback riding and studying Kendo.
Pomers loves animals and has a dog, named after the king himself, Elvis, and a horse named Salem.
