Bio
Patrick Wilson is an American actor and singer best known for his roles in the feature films The Phantom of the Opera (2004) and Little Children (2006).
He is also known for his starring role as Dr. Michael Holt in the short-lived supernatural medical drama television series A Gifted Man, from 2011-2012.
Wilson also starred in the acclaimed mini-series Angels in America, earning an Emmy nomination for his performance.
He appeared in the films Morning Glory, The Switch, The A-Team, Watchmen, Evening, Running with Scissors, Little Children, Hard Candy and The Phantom of the Opera.
He was Tony-nominated for his Broadway performances in Oklahoma! and The Full Monty.
Wilson is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. He was awarded the Charles Willard Memorial Award for Undergraduate Excellence in Music Theatre while studying at Carnegie-Mellon.
His father, John, is a TV anchorman and his mother, Mary K. is a professional singer and voice teacher.
