Lane Garrison is an American actor best known for his recurring role as David "Tweener" Apolskis on the television series Prison Break.
Prior to Prison Break, Garrison appeared in the movies 4 Faces (1999) and Quality of Life (2004), and appeared in the 2005 episode of Night Stalker entitled "Three" (Season 1, Episode 3).
In 2005/6 he worked on Prison Break, after which he landed a role in the movies Crazy (2006) and Shooter, which was released in 2007.
At 17 and unable to get along with his mother, Garrison left home and moved in with Joe Simpson - the manager and father of pop stars Jessica and Ashlee Simpson - for a year.
During his teenage years, Garrison was a thief and due to Joe Simpson's influence, he changed his behaviour.
Garrison graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas in 1998, and at 18, drove to Los Angeles to become an actor. His first job was a backpack commercial that paid $3,500.
Garrison was involved in a serious car accident on 2 December, 2006 at approximately 23h50 in Beverly Hills, California.
Seventeen-year-old Vahagn Setian died and two 15-year-old girls were injured when Garrison's SUV crashed into a tree. Beverly Hills Police accident investigators reported that Garrison displayed symptoms of alcohol intoxication at the scene.
He was charged with one count each of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, driving under the influence and causing injury to multiple victims, driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above, and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
On Monday 21 May 2007, Garrison pleaded guilty in Los Angeles County Superior Court to one count of vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence, one count of driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol level of .15 or higher and a misdemeanour of providing alcohol to a minor.
He will be sentenced in August 2007.
