Bio
Laura Breckenridge is an American actress best known for her role as college student Rose Sorelli on the television series Related, from 2005-2006.
The role of a young woman who switches her major from pre-med to experimental theatre is not exactly a stretch for Breckenridge, who appeared on Broadway in the 2002 revival of Arthur Miller's The Crucible (also in the cast was another rising young star, Kristen Bell of Veronica Mars).
At a young age she appeared in the movie Loving Annabelle, a dramatic movie in which a catholic school teacher falls in love with one of her girl students. She plays a teenager who is very troubled and cuts her wrists.
She has also appeared in the feature films Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God... Be Back by Five (1998), Southern Belles (2005), Havoc (2005), The Favor (2006), I Hate Musicals (2007) and Tres (2007).
She has three other films lined up for a 2008 release: Beautiful Loser, Let Them Chirp Awhile and Amusement.
Aside from her work on Related, Breckenridge has made guest appearance in the television shows The Jersey, Definitely Maybe, and Boston Public.
Although taking a break from her studies during the production of Related, Breckenridge is majoring in classics with a theatre and dance certificate at Princeton and now makes her home in Los Angeles.
