Nicole Sullivan is an American actress, voice actress, comedian and occasional professional poker player best known for appearing on the sketch comedy series MADtv and for her starring role as Holly Shumpert on the sitcom The King of Queens.
She has also provided voice work for animated sitcoms like Family Guy and Baby Blues and films such as Meet the Robinsons and The Ant Bully.
Her career started in the mid-90s when she guest-starred on shows like Models Inc., Party of Five, and Herman's Head.
In 1995, she beat out several people for a starring role on the sketch comedy show, MADTV. The show became a big hit and Nicole was a breakout star of the show.
During her runs on MADTV she guest-starred on shows like Family Guy, Suddenly Susan, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Sullivan kept busy in 2000, juggling four shows, MADTV, Baby Blues, Buzz Lightyear: Star Command, and Talk to Me.
She left MADTV in 2001 and starred in several television movies.
In 2002, she joined the cast of the hit CBS sitcom, The King of Queens alongside Leah Remini and Kevin James. Throughout The King of Queens, Sullivan joined two more shows, Clone High and Kim Possible. Clone High failed, but Kim Possible lasted until 2004 and eventually went into syndication.
She broke into the celebrity circuit, guest-starring on shows like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Sharon Osbourne Show, and Dennis Miller Live. She also spent 3 years on Hollywood Squares, from 2003 to 2005.
Among her recent appearances were on the short-lived sitcom Hot Properties, the detective series Raines and the con drama Leverage. She starred for two seasons on Rita Rocks and in the short-lived sitcom Shit My Dad Says.
She has also provided voices for the animated series The Secret Saturdays, Family Guy and The Penguins of Madagascar.
