Mason Gamble is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Dennis Mitchell in the 1993 film Dennis the Menace; and as Jason Schwartzman's sidekick, Dirk Calloway, in the critically acclaimed 1998 film, Rushmore.
Mason began his film-acting career at age six when director Harold Ramos cast him in Ground Hog Day.
Three months later, Mason won the title role in the hit comedy Dennis The Menace - chosen from 20,000 other hopefuls in a nationwide casting call launched by John Hughes and Warner Bros.
Mason has had starring roles in such films at Flatland Pictures' Just In Time directed by Tom Rice; and Morgan Creek's Bad Moon directed by Eric Red also starring Mariel Hemingway.
Among his other film credits are Spy Hard directed by Rick Friedberg and Arlington Road. He also had a role in Gattaca, directed by Andrew Niccol, starring Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke.
In 2001 he had a recurring role as Elvis Brasher in the television series Kate Brasher (6 episodes). He also appeared in a 2006 episode of CSI: Miami.
Mason live in the Chicago area where he is an avid participant in numerous sports and enjoys computers, animals, the great outdoors and a wide variety of other activities.
