Bio
Evan Peters is an American actor best known for his television roles as Jesse Varon in Invasion (2005-2006) and for various roles in American Horror Story, since 2011.
Peters was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. When he was 14, his father took a job in Grand Blanc, Michigan, where the family moved to begin a new life.
It was here that Bob Lamb, a photographer, video'd Evan for Los Angeles talent manager Craig Wargo who decided to represent Evan once he saw the tape. Weeks later, Peters and his family moved to Los Angeles for a visit that turned into a permanent stay.
Wargo sent Evan to Innovative Artists Agency who signed him immediately. His next meeting with them was his first audition for the independent film Clipping Adam. Within a couple of weeks, he was cast in the lead role of Adam and his career was underway.
Clipping Adam won numerous film festival Best Feature awards. Peters also won several awards for his role in the film, including:
SAG Emerging Actor at the St. Louis International Film Festival
Jury Award (Best Actor) at the Eclipse Film Festival in St. George, Utah
Best Young Actor at the Down Under International Film Festival in Darwin, Australia
Best Breakthrough Performance at the Phoenix Film Festival
Numerous commercials followed, including Sony PlayStation, Progressive Insurance, Moviefone, Sour Patch Kids, Papa John's Pizza and Kellogg's.
In 2004, Peters made his television debut in the recurring role of Seth on Phil of the Future. That same year, he played the laughable-yet-loveable skateboarder Russell in the motion picture Sleepover.
Also in that year he was cast as one of the Days in the TV series The Days - which chronicles a 24-hour day in the lives of the Day family every episode.
He has since guest starred in numerous television series including Dirt, Without a Trace, Monk, House, One Tree Hill, Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, The Office, Parenthood and In Plain Sight.
Evan's favourite groups are the Dave Matthews Band and Coldplay.
