Capetonian James Lennox began his broadcasting career on Good Hope FM after completing his post-graduate studies at UCT.
Television exposure followed soon after, where he progressed from contributing to M-Net's Red Nose Day to anchoring the Mr Price Pro (formerly Gunston 500) surfing event in Durban.
He co-hosted MTN Gladiators with Ursula Stapelfeldt before moving to Johannesburg in 2005 to establish a new division of the global Sports marketing and entertainment company, Octagon, called Impanzi Productions.
