Bio
Joy Osmanski is an American actress best known for her starring role as Darcy on the television comedy series The Loop, from 2006-2007.
She also had a starring role as Maggie Tomkins, a woman whose close friend recently discovered that she can communicate with God, in the short-lived television sitcom Save Me, in 2013.
Raised in Olympia, Washington, Osmanski spent her childhood surrounded by towering pines and mountain views. It was a lush setting for the imagination and she developed an early passion for art.
It wasn't until she moved to California and was bit by the acting bug and after completing her masters of fine arts at UC San Diego that she settled in Los Angeles.
The hard work paid off and she quickly booked a series regular role on The Loop and enjoyed recurring roles on several series, including Grey's Anatomy, True Jackson and Samantha Who? as well as guest spots on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Numbers.
Her film work includes roles in White on Rice, Fired Up and Wedding Palace.
Osmanski continues to work regularly in theatre, including the Mark Taper Forum, La Jolla Playhouse, A Noise Within and Chalk Rep.
When she's not acting, Osmanski loves to craft, hike with her dog and keep bees with her husband.
